Due to schedules and trips, we celebrated Father's Day with Rob's dad last Sunday. Rob's parents, sister Deb, and Abigail and Paul came over for dinner.
We celebrated on Monday the three of us since Rob will be working Father's Day and he had his first day off with nothing else going on in over three weeks! We had a fantastic family day of a walk, breakfast out, playing, swimming, and grilling!!!

Austin's first trip to the ER...
Austin woke up at 12:45 AM Monday morning with a croupy cough that turned bad fast...I've never been so terrified in his 14 months. His breathing was quite scary. We called the pediatrician who told us to do the steam shower and then cold which we did. She called back and could heat his breathing and told us we needed to take Austin to the ER. He was such a little trooper!! He endured chest x-rays, an epinephrine breathing treatment and an oral steroid (which he had to do twice since the first time it came right back up). He finally fell back asleep in my arms 3 hours after he first woke up and then was up again about 5:45 AM right before we got to leave.
I know croup is a common thing and Austin's had it before but it hadn't gotten so bad, so fast!

Quick trip...
Austin's godmother, Julie, flew into town for a quick trip to surprise her mom. So Austin and I picked her up at the airport and took her to Estes. We spent the night in Estes with my parents then took Aunt Juju back to the airport the next afternoon!! It was a quick trip but with fun times!
I just love this face!!!!
Back in October, we took Austin to the Dunraven in Estes. It's my favorite place to eat when we're there. Austin couldn't eat anything that time but this time, he ate some lasagna for the first time!!
Mitchell wedding!
Garrett and Julie were married on Memorial Day at the Evergreen Lake House! It was a beautiful wedding and their personalities were evident throughout the day! A great time was had by all! Congrats Mitchells!!
My two men!! What handsome guys!
We all stood for the ceremony so I put Austin in the Baby Bjorn otherwise I knew I'd be chasing him all over! It was perfect though as we were by a rail and he was able to stand or sit as he wanted.
Mother's Day presents!
For the grandmas, for Mother's Day, we did paint your own pottery. Or should I say, Daddy helped the lady get Austin's hand prints on the plate and I painted the rest! Needless to say, it was fun and we're fairly certain the grandmas were very happy!
