To follow Rob...

Okay, so the website is www.pgatournaments.com to follow Rob. You can click on PGA Assistant Championship then results.

Austin and I went to see the manatees yesterday and today we went to see Daddy at the turn and then went swimming before going back to pick Daddy up! Austin LOVED the pool! We're hoping to take him to the beach for the first time in the next couple of days...

Austin's 6 month pics....

So we're here in Florida but we were just able to view Austin's 6 month pics...be sure to check out Erin's blog for a preview http://www.elcphoto.com/blog/

We made it to Florida safe and sound. Austin was a TROOPER!! Especially since his first tooth started breaking through on Sunday morning...I would have never known. He was up earlier than usual on Sunday morning and Sunday after church I started poking around his gums and could feel his little tooth! The plane ride was uneventful. We were lucky enough to get a whole row to ourselves! Austin took a couple of little naps and just played with Daddy and I. I am sure it was an interesting sight to see us with our luggage and the little man. Rob had his clubs and his bag -- both rolling plus his backpack. I had the car seat in a backpack, Austin and I's bag -- yes, for those of you who know how I like to pack, Austin and I are SHARING ONE BAG FOR THE WEEK -- the daiper bag, video camera, and I was pushing Austin in the stroller.

Here are some pics of our plane ride and be sure to check out Erin's blog for Austin's pics!

Boo at the Zoo

It was a BEAUTIFUL day for Boo at the Zoo! It was a little windy when we first got there but still lots of fun!! Rob, Austin, and I went and Grandma and Grandpa Leaycraft joined us as well as Aunt Deb and cousins Abigail and Paul!

Austin dressed as a monkey which was appropriate...we have called him a monkey for quite a while now. He started as our drool monkey and he LOVES it when Daddy makes monkey noises so...now we have all sorts of monkey things. He has a puppet, a couple of toys, as well as several monkey shirts. And I even have a monkey key chain to remind me of our little monkey man! When we get his 6 month pics back, I'll let you know as we even took a few of his pictures with his monkey puppet! We're hoping his costume may even fit him again next year since it was 6-18 months and a little big this year!

Leaving for Florida...

We leave for Florida on Monday for a week! I am looking forward to being off school for a week with both my men! Rob is playing once again in the Assistant's Championship in Port St. Lucie. It is our first time for the three of us to fly together so it should be fun and exciting! This is the first year I won't be able to watch Rob play but Austin and I will probably go over at the turn to at least blow Daddy kisses! This is our one "family getaway" each year as just us and this is the first time it's the three of us...well Austin was there last year, I guess :) I was 16 weeks pregnant when we went last year!

If you want to follow Rob's progress starting on Thursday, I think this should be the link.... http://www.pga.com/pgaofamerica/events/assistantppnc/2008/

I am taking the computer and if I load the picture program, I may try to update the blog while we're there with pictures!

How our little man has changed...

It's still amazing to us how fast our little man has grown and how he changes! Austin was born on the Rockies opening day in St. Louis. On Friday after he was born, it was their home opener here in Denver so we put him in a 6/9 month jacket. Well, today, I put him in the same jacket and had him hold the same baseball...needless to say, he's grown into a little bit and he was certainly more interested in the baseball!! And don't worry, I've changed the sheets in last 6 months :)

One BIG pumpkin

On Monday night, we headed over to Jason, Nicole, Nyah, and Reece's for dinner! They gave Austin a pumpkin which I think was bigger than both Nyah and Austin put together!!! Nyah was so proud of "Baby Austin's" pumpkin! THANKS!!!!

Estes weekend getaway!

Austin and I headed to Estes last weekend. We stayed with my parents (Grandma and Grandpa Leaycraft) Friday and Saturday night since Rob was working. It was nice to have a couple of extra sets of hands during the weekend and I was even able to get a pedicure which was FABULOUS!!

On Saturday morning after getting up, Austin and I played in bed...I certainly enjoy my weekends with him especially after working all day Friday!

Austin practiced his piano skills with Grandma while we were there...I am afraid his piano may not be quite as fun anymore!! He helped Grandma practice for church on Sunday (she plays for Sunday service at the YMCA). The first time he hit the keys, he looked around like he had done something wrong -- we just clapped and he went right back to it!

We went to the Dunraven on Saturday night...my favorite place to eat when in Estes. It was Austin's first trip. He sat in the high chair and was such a big boy! He was so good while we were there...just playing and hanging out!

Grandpa took Austin up for kids church on Sunday...the theme was butterflies! Bill, the pastor who married us and baptized Austin, had special butterfly cookies so Grandpa ate Austin's!

Some random pics...

We've been taking Austin to MY GYM for about two months...he loves the gym and gets so excited! I couldn't resist this picture in the balls last week! We're taking a couple of weeks off since we're going to Florida for Rob's golf tournament but we'll be headed back when we're home!

Austin is rolling himself all over the place when he wants something!! No, he's not crawling and we're not in any hurry for him too either! Anyway, like a typical man, he found the DVR last week...Daddy came home from getting coffee and wasn't so excited about it. Austin even managed to turn the stereo system on....

Austin likes to help out with the laundry...Daddy's a little more brave than I am but Austin likes the ride!!

One tired little man...

I think these are some of my favorite moments with Austin. He is SUCH a sweetheart and so much fun...but there is something about when he falls asleep and is OUT!! I love cuddling which probably has something to do with it. On both Friday night and tonight he had those times which you can see in the pics...

Daddy taking Austin up to bed...our little Bronco man!

Jail break...we guess Austin was trying to escape but got tired in the process :)

I love my family!

It was Grandma Leaycraft's Friday to watch Austin and after they picked me up at school, we stopped by work to see Daddy!! Mmm, I love golf balls.

Hanging out with Grandma is lots of fun!

I helped Austin find Daddy's spiky hair...he had lots of fun trying to fix it himself. Maybe he can help Daddy get ready in the mornings now! Austin's hair is getting long enough that we maybe be able to start spiking his soon too!!

Austin likes football...especially the Broncos! Grandma Hunt is helping him figure out the game!

So many fun things!!

Last Thursday was a big day for the little man! We went to Austin's 6 month appointment...he's 17 lbs 9 oz and 26.5 inches long. Afterward we headed to the zoo to meet Nicole, Nyah, and Reece, friends of ours. I love the picture above...all tired out!

After the zoo, we headed over to the Links to see Daddy after their company tournament!!!
On Sunday, my mom and I did the Race for the Cure...it's our third year doing it. It's crazy to think how much life has changed since we did it last year. Last night we tried peas for the first time...we've been trying to figure out the best way to get the little man to eat...sometimes he's all about it and sometimes, well, more ends up everywhere else than in his belly!! He hasn't fussed once about it though...just "blows bubbles" to get it out!!

Hanging with the fam....

Those keys are good....I love my Aunt Deb!

Hanging with Cousin Paul is fun!

Happy Birthday Uncle Joel!!

A new experience...

So tonight, since our little man is now 6 months old, we tried cereal for the 1st time!! And only as in Austin fashion, he enjoyed every minute of it although you can't tell necessarily from this picture, but he never once fused! Of course, it was everywhere too!!

I wanted to include a few more pics from last month...look at Austin look at that cake. I'm not sure who was more excited...me or him!

Aunt Juju and Uncle Ray-Ray...what a fun visit!
