Happy Thanksgiving...

We went to Rob's Aunt Claudia and Uncle Dick's house for Thanksgiving dinner! It was fun as all the aunt, uncles, and cousins were there from the Hunt family and my parents joined us as well!! We have to much to be thankful for this year...I think we see things differently this year! We are constantly amazed at our family of three and for all of God's blessings in our lives.

Hanging out on Daddy's shoulders!

Austin ate his first 'real' sweet potato on Thanksgiving Day! I baked it in the oven and then put it in the food processor -- my new favorite way to fix Austin's food!!

Happy Anniversary!

Rob and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary on Thanksgiving Day this year! It's hard to believe it's been four years...we talk about how it seems like so long ago yet at the same time it seems like just yesterday! We were able to celebrate our anniversary on Wednesday night...we went to dinner at Brooks and stayed at the Marriott in the Tech Center. It was the first time we'd slept in, in about 8 months!! Grandma and Grandpa Leaycraft stayed with the little man and I think we all enjoyed our time!!

Our little crawler!

Our little man started army crawling last Sunday...for those of you who know, I was NOT encouraging crawling! Oh well!! Needless to say, we are having lots of fun with Austin and he's getting into more "stuff!"

Last Monday, Daddy was home with Austin and caught him emptying all of his toys out of the basket....

Who ME?

On Wednesday, Austin had fun pulling himself up and deciding what book he wanted to read next!

Ready for the cold!!

We've been so blessed...in my opinion at least (I think Rob feels differently :) )...with the warm fall weather. We've gotten Austin some winter gear which in the last week or so he's gotten to wear with some colder days...

Trying on his new hat to show Daddy!!

All bundled up and ready to go!

I got Austin a new winter coat and Grandma Leaycraft and Mommy found the lobster hat! Today Austin and I went for a short walk so I had to get some pictures of him in his new winter gear! He's leaning against the couch here...and somewhat leaning to the side! He was trying to figure this big thing out!

As happy as a...lobster!

Me and my little man!!

Hanging with friends....

We had dinner plans on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday last weekend! Fun was had by all! On Friday night, we went to dinner with Jason, Nicole, Nyah, and Reece! And on Saturday night, we had some of my college friends over for dinner. Nicole and Matt, Mandie and Aaron, and Megan all came over. Nicole and Matt have a daughter Taylor who was born on Austin's due date so we have lots of fun together!

Both Taylor and Austin are teething....

....but they still had fun "playing" together!

Austin figured out how to get to his toys...

Austin had fun playing with Uncle Jason at dinner...pushing all that air out of his mouth!!

Clint Hurdle was at school for a family night for the book fair so we took Austin to get his picture taken with him and his autograph! Austin wasn't so sure at first...but ended up smiling in the end!

November birthdays!

Grandpa Leaycraft's 60th birthday was while we were in Florida so we celebrated when we got back. Austin had fun giving Grandma his card and helping him open it!

Grandma Hunt's birthday was November 18th so we celebrated last Sunday with Rob's family...

More swimming....and heading home!

On Sunday, the weather held out and we were able to get some more swimming in during the afternoon/early evening! The three of us probably spent about 45 minutes or so swimming around. We were even able to enjoy a dinner on the water for our last night!

Monday was our travel day home...and the little man was once again a trooper and did FABULOUS! Rob and I both talked about what a great traveler Austin had been ALL WEEK! He once again had a good flight with no problems! Our little man has blessed our lives already more than we could ever imagine...

Checking out the scenery on the plane ride home!

Houston's here we come!

So my favorite restaurant is Houston's and they only have them in a few states -- Colorado not being one of them...so Rob has graciously, every year he's qualified to go to Florida, driven over an hour so I can have my ribs. This was the 4th year we've done this and Austin's first trip!!

Saturday afternoon we went swimming to show Daddy how much we LOVE the water...

Austins' 1st of many trips to Houston's...if Mommy has anything to say about it anyway!

Austin and Mommy...his personal swim instructor!

Austin loves to do motor boat...

Getting ready to go underwater...

...he likes it more than he did this summer! He never complained!

Austin's 1st trip to the ocean...

Rob had an 8AM tee time on Friday and since I was keeping Austin pretty much on Colorado time, it worked out well for our trip! Rob was done by noon and we went over at the turn and then again to pick him up. He missed the cut by 1 and we were bummed but still VERY proud of him!!

After finishing we drove to the beach to have little lunch and take Austin to the ocean for the 1st time! It was great as the place we ate at was on the beach so after we finished we walked right into the sand and ocean. Austin was completely unphased by the whole thing!!

And since it was Halloween, Austin wore his Florida costume...our little man, Charlie Brown!

We're so proud of Daddy!

Austin let the waves crash over his feet again and again....

....and let his toes feel the sand!
