Playing hard and having fun!!

With the beautiful weather we've had this last week, Austin was able to get out and enjoy his slide and swing!! On Monday, Rob taught Austin to go down the slide by himself so they showed me on Thursday!! We are in constant amazement of how he changes and grows every day...and his personality shows more and more!! We have a blast!

When mom's not around...

Rob has Mondays off so he gets to spend the day with Austin while I'm at work! I am so thankful that they are able to have a little father/son bonding time every week!! I so enjoy watching them together so I can only imagine the fun they really have when I'm not around!!

Last Monday, Rob told me that Austin had helped him empty the dishwasher...and these are the pictures he took!!

Some of the highlights from January....

Sorry I haven't been better about keeping up with the blog...the more mobile Austin gets, the more time gets away from me! Austin has been keeping us on our toes. We just truly enjoy each minute with him...and they are passing by way to quickly! Here are some of my favorite pics and new things from January!

Austin playing with the toy Aunt Julie and Uncle Ray got him for Christmas...it was fun to watch him figure it out and finally get the ball in my himself for the first time after showing him a couple of times!

Austin finally figured out how to drink out of a straw!!! We were so excited! Now we just need him to figure out how to swallow it all....

A typical man...going for the remotes! Everything is now off the top of the coffee table with the expection of the remotes since Austin likes to walk around it! But he's figured out that the remote container spins!

We were running some errands last week and decided to stop at Panera and get some lunch! We ordered Austin's first meal out for him and he loved it!

Blueberry pancakes!

We had a great Saturday! Rob had switched his days off this week as we went to the Avs game today with his family. So we were able to enjoy a family morning! Daddy was the best as he let me sleep in a little bit and played with Austin! We gave Austin blueberries for the first time about a week ago and he likes them just like his Daddy likes blueberries! So we decided that we'd have a family breakfast this morning and all have blueberry pancakes!

When I came downstairs this morning, Austin and Daddy were already making the pancakes!
What a sight...it makes my heart melt! I love them both so much!

Fun Christmas presents!

Austin was spoiled by many friends and family for Christmas! Here are a couple of his presents! Getting ready to go down the slide on the little play gym that Grandma and Grandpa Hunt got Austin...Daddy put it together last Monday so we played with it inside a little before taking it outside!

Austin the 9 month old!!

It's hard to believe our little man is 9 months old! He has changed so much in the last month and especially in the last couple of weeks...we can see his personality coming out more and more! We took Austin to the doctor last Monday for his 9 month appointment and he's now 20 lbs and 28 inches!! He's learned to pull himself up...and did so in his crib for the first time on Christmas morning so naps have been interesting lately (be sure to look at the pictures!) and he's now crawling up all our stairs multiple times!

No more leaving the burp cloth on the side of the crib! Austin pulled himself up Christmas morning to get it!

I've been out of school for two weeks so with that and the holidays, there have been lots of special occasions lately and fun times with special friends!!

Playing Deal or No Deal with Aunt Juju and Uncle Ray-Ray at Dave & Busters to celebrate Julie's birthday!!

Austin got to play with friends Madelyn and Jonathon after they had us over for breakfast!

We spent New Year's Eve with the Brandts!! Nyah shared her toys with Austin and helped him play the piano!

We went over to the Craft's house and Austin was able to play with Genesse who is 6 weeks younger! Her dad, Justin, and Rob grew up together and it's going to be fun to watch the two kids grow up too!
