I love my family!

It was Grandma Leaycraft's Friday to watch Austin and after they picked me up at school, we stopped by work to see Daddy!! Mmm, I love golf balls.

Hanging out with Grandma is lots of fun!

I helped Austin find Daddy's spiky hair...he had lots of fun trying to fix it himself. Maybe he can help Daddy get ready in the mornings now! Austin's hair is getting long enough that we maybe be able to start spiking his soon too!!

Austin likes football...especially the Broncos! Grandma Hunt is helping him figure out the game!

So many fun things!!

Last Thursday was a big day for the little man! We went to Austin's 6 month appointment...he's 17 lbs 9 oz and 26.5 inches long. Afterward we headed to the zoo to meet Nicole, Nyah, and Reece, friends of ours. I love the picture above...all tired out!

After the zoo, we headed over to the Links to see Daddy after their company tournament!!!
On Sunday, my mom and I did the Race for the Cure...it's our third year doing it. It's crazy to think how much life has changed since we did it last year. Last night we tried peas for the first time...we've been trying to figure out the best way to get the little man to eat...sometimes he's all about it and sometimes, well, more ends up everywhere else than in his belly!! He hasn't fussed once about it though...just "blows bubbles" to get it out!!

Hanging with the fam....

A new experience...

So tonight, since our little man is now 6 months old, we tried cereal for the 1st time!! And only as in Austin fashion, he enjoyed every minute of it although you can't tell necessarily from this picture, but he never once fused! Of course, it was everywhere too!!

I wanted to include a few more pics from last month...look at Austin look at that cake. I'm not sure who was more excited...me or him!

Aunt Juju and Uncle Ray-Ray...what a fun visit!

A month in review....

It's hard to believe our little man is 6 months old!! I think I can speak for both Rob and I when I say, I never knew I could love someone so much! It is amazing the joy Austin brings into our lives and I thank God for blessing us with him each day!!

I am sorry I haven't been good at posting for the last month...I have been transitioning into being somewhat of a working mom! I am so thankful for the work schedule I have and that I am only away from our little man 2 1/2 days a week! I said to Rob, I feel like I am more lazy as a mom, but he corrected me and told me that my priorities are just different! I come home from work and all I want to do is hang out with the little monkey! Today, I just come home and played with Austin until Rob got home!! Luckily I had something I could just throw in the oven!

Austin had a great September...he helped both Uncle Ben celebrate is 30th on the 1st and mine on the 13th! Austin was VERY interested in my cake and he helped me blow out the birthday candles!! Daddy got to go to MY GYM with us for the first time. Our new friends Reece and Issac were born. And of course, it was the start of Bronco season!! Aunt Juju and Uncle Ray-Ray (Julie and Ray Sykes, Austin's godparents) also came to visit for a night and we had a GREAT time!

Helping Uncle Ben celebrate his 30th!!

Having our first driving lesson...pulling the car into the garage!

Chilling with Daddy!

"It's a very important day in your life..."

"It's your first NFL season." Those were close to the words I heard come out of Rob's mouth when talking to Austin the other night. Oh well, I guess it could be worse!! And of course, I think they are too cute together, ready to cheer on the Broncos! Although Austin barely made it to kick-off!

So I can't decide...

So I started this blog obviously before Austin was born...I just can't decide which one to do -- either this blog or the Shutterfly one. The great thing about the Shutterfly one is I can put up a link to all of Austin's pictures but this one makes it easier to blog and put a couple of pictures up. I guess I'll do both and you can go to whichever you want!
